Chesapeake Bay Foundation workshop teaches community members how to build oyster cages and raise oysters in the Baltimore Inner Harbor.
The oyster population in the Chesapeake Bay has fallen to 1-2 percent of its historic levels due to pollution, loss of habitat and disease. The Chesapeake Bay Foundation is working to
restore oysters which help to filter the water in the Chesapeake Bay.
Oyster gardening workshop by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation teaches volunteers how to make oyster cages and how to garden oysters in the the Baltimore Inner Harbor and the Chesapeake Bay.
